Debbie has had a career in Interior Design on the North Shore and Whistler since 2001. To Debbie, each job is a palette of textures and balance of elements. Always managing each project with integrity and motivation from concept to completion.
Other creative interests include furniture refinishing, faux finishing, hand making tiles, floral design and restoration of her circa1918 Heritage home which she received District of North Vancouver Heritage award in recognition of the Restoration and Compatible Extension.
She believes in being totally invested in each design process giving her total commitment and engagement.
Debbie’s love for design led her to explore creativity in a variety of media including watercolor, oil, graphite and acrylic developing a more serious relationship to acrylic painting in 2014. While currently focusing on acrylics her diverse subject matter ranges from landscape and seascape to wildlife and portraiture. Her process of painting is entirely influenced by light: its direction, the shadows it creates. She is inspired by our West coast great outdoors and believe it is clearly evident in her work.
